MONTHLY SOCIAL DANCES
HOSTED BY LEE & ELIZABETH MCGREGOR
These dances are designed to provide you, the student, with a fun, safe, friendly and non-intimidating venue in which to practice, in a social setting, what you are learning in class. Don't wait - the sooner you start, the more comfortable you will feel dancing in public. As an added bonus, we do not mind being pulled aside and asked to go over a figure that we have taught in class, but you just can't quite remember. Tickets will be available at the door, however, please consider purchasing them ahead of time as this speeds up the entry process. This also helps us get an idea as to how many people will be attending, and if we have several people from the same class coming, we can set aside a table for you.
A workshop is held prior to each monthly dance. Our next dance will take place on Saturday, February 11th and the workshop will focus on the RHUMBA. Here are all the details:
Soft drinks, juice and water will be made available at no extra charge. To help the environment, you are welcome to bring your own re-usable & non-breakable drinks container, although we will have a small supply of plastic cups on hand in case you forget yours. You are also welcome to bring your own beverage (but no alcohol please) and snacks (but please leave your area tidy at the end of the evening)
